Here’s how they’re feeling about the K-12 public education system right now:
8 in 10 teachers
say their class is
more complex than 5 years ago.
4 in 10
are considering
leaving the profession before retirement.
Job satisfaction for educators is now the lowest in 24 years,
and lower than during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite this, educators love when they see the positive impact their work has for Manitoba’s students. They feel most satisfied with their jobs when they can see how they are making a difference for students and forming meaningful relationships with them.
